On June 2nd Hyndla’s first commercial high voltage transmission tower project was installed using helicopter. The two Hyndla aluminium towers were delivered as a pilot-project with Elvia, the largest Norwegian TSO.

With a truly optimized design for maximum strength in the horizontal directions, the H200 offers more than 2500 kNm capacity in each horizontal direction, making it equivalent to steel structures several times its weight.

At 850kg this 21 meter high tower it the lightest transmission tower on the market for the Norwegian regional grid (132 kV).
